Just finished watching Rom-com or reading a fantasy novel and obsessed over a perfect relationship? Well I am quite sure, at some point every one of us has contemplated the fairy-tale relationship with our significant other. However in real ended up getting disappointed. Worry not because in my perspective there is no such thing as “perfect relationship”. I believe your relation should be real rather than perfect whether it’s with your parents, friends, siblings, your significant other or anyone in general. Do you agree? If yes, than grab a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy the post.
Hello and welcome to "The Libra Style". I am Dhwani. How are you all doing? I hope you had an amazing Christmas weekend and all prepped to welcome 2021. I wish new year brings ample happiness, wealth, good health and vaccine for covid-19.
In today’s post I will be sharing few secret of a healthy relationship. Starting with the most important secret:
Honesty!
Honesty plays the role of foundation. When I am saying honesty, I am not just focusing on being loyal to each other of course it’s the foremost step of any relationship but apart from that be honest about your perspective, preferences , situation, work or dreams. Whatever it is just be honest and let the other person know what’s in your mind. It didn’t require much effort yet impact a lot on your relationship.
Trust!
I believe honesty and trust go hand in hand. If you are honest the other person will not be able to stop themselves from trusting you or vice versa. Trust in relationship make it stronger however blind trust make it weak. There is a very thin line between trust and blind trust so be a little cautious.
Space!
Everyone knows how salient it is to have some space in any relationship. However few of the people took it as an opportunity to ghost.😑Anyways what i want to convey here is not sticking with each other 24/7 (of course you can if you want to). Spare some time to catch up with your friends, family or for yourself. so that you don't get on each others nerves.
Little Things!
Truly Said by Jon Kabat-Zinn "The little things? The little moments? They aren't little". I totally agree with him. From Good morning texts to carefully listening about their bad day and any small gesture in between will make them feel nice and special.
Simple, isn't it? Try for yourself and see the results!
These were the few simple secrets for a healthy relationship. I would love to hear your thoughts! Drop a comment if you would like to share.
Ending This post with a quote by Steve Maraboli " A healthy relationship is one in which love enriches you; not imprisons you.
